Investor's Business Daily - PC and video games are no longer the preserve of teen boys, as gaming is becoming more popular with women and people of all ages. One out of every 4 gamers is over age 50, says a new study by the Entertainment Software Association. The study also found that women now make up 40% of the game-playing population. In addition, the study says women age 18 and over represent 33% of gamers, topping boys age 17 or younger who now represent just 18% of gamers. The association argues that there is no longer a stereotypical gamer.

Sony Tries To Move Beyond PlayStation Price Cut (NewsFactor)
NewsFactor - Sony cut the price of its 60GB PS3 console in advance of this week's E3 Business and Media Summit, which finished Thursday in Los Angeles. The company also announced a new 80GB system for $499, then announced that the price would be cut $100 by fall.
